So it’s unfortunate that I have to announce that I’m moving to YouTube for all my music streams from starting next month.
With the new DJ Program and changes to how music is consumed on Twitch, it’s meant I can no longer do what I could before on that platform. This isn’t bad news for all DJs on there, the changes just limited a lot of what I can do with the podcast.
For the most part I had an amazing time on Twitch and met some amazing people that have become great friends but a few of us knew our time was coming to an end and when it comes to making sure artists are getting paid for their music being played? YouTube has had this sorted for years before lockdown even. However the community building on Twitch is second to none are there are a lot of features and people I’ll miss.
But with change comes new goals and opportunities. Moving to YouTube means I can do so much more for the supporters of what I do. All the things I can do on Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, TikTok, even Twitter? I can do on YouTube and if you want to support me financially like you can on Twitch then I have a new members club you can subscribe to and get more for your direct support.
So if you haven’t already, please subscribe to my YouTube channel, I’m really close to 1000 subscribers and I have so many ideas I want to bring to light like listening parties, Live performances from myself and Spynal Records artists, Gig Vlogs and more. I’m excited for the future and focused on building my business.
